Bookworms, Bees, and Other Bugs

Meet us at Westmeadows Indigenous Community Garden for an outdoor library program in celebration of Earth Day! We’ll read nature stories, talk about growing plants and healthy eating, then explore the community garden to inspire children to grow their own food.

Please note, this event may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions including high temperatures and strong winds. Please check both the weather conditions and your email the morning of the event in case the event is cancelled.

Bookings are essential. Please book one ticket for each child attending. Please make sure you wear sensible walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing that can get dirty. Don’t forget a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, a picnic rug and healthy snack!
